The Professional Beauty Association (PBA), producer of the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) has announced renowned hair stylist, author and star of Bravo’s Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Tabatha Coffey, as host of the 2011 NAHA Awards Ceremony (Modern Salon is a founding sponsor). In addition, actress, model and star of Peepshow, Holly Madison, will receive the 2011 Beautiful Humanitarian Award, which will be presented at the NAHA Awards Ceremony.

OK. There aren’t many shoes that I would consider paying more than $300. I am tight enough that I often squeak, especially my knees. I like to blame it on age, but it is really just because I am cheap. We talked about Victoria Beckham’s inspiration for the Brian Atwood shoes she featured in her last collection. They are now available for Pre-order at Nordstroms. These are the only $600 shoes that I would seriously consider purchasing. I have them in my shopping cart, and am trying to justify their purchase. . They are gorgeous.

I’m not particularly superstitious, I do walk on the cracks in the pavement, Friday the 13th doesn’t seem to be any unluckier than Thursday the 12th, however I do avoid walking under ladders, but that’s just common sense. The number 3 seems to have a powerful place in society, there’s the Trinity in Christianity, one of my all-time faves Three is the Magic Number and then there’s these two interchangeable sayings, “Third Time Lucky” and “Third Time’s The Charm”. Yeah, I know. Cloverfield came out in 2008, so the Groverfield parody shirt is old news, right?
