Open bar aside, we suspect the Golden Globes uncork more fun than other awards shows because it’s the first big one: After a long dry spell away from the public eye, celebrities are itching to get out there and exorcise some fashion demons. Or welcome in a couple new ones, as the case may be. We sorted through the whole photo pile (see a complete gallery of all the attendees here) and picked for your perusal the outfits that stood out the most — for their merits, their misguidedness or their plain old unadulterated crazy. (Piper Perabo, we’re looking at you. Although we’re guessing that was the point.)
