Sofia Coppola Marries Longtime Love Thomas Mars in Italy!

Filmmaker Sofia Coppola said “I do” to Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars in a civil ceremony in Italy today.

The pair exchanged vows in her family’s villa in Bernalda, the Southern Italian hometown of the bride’s grandparents. The bride, 40, wore a custom wedding dress by Azzedine Alaia and was walked down the aisle by her father, director Francis Ford Coppola.

According to People some 80 guestsincluding director George Lucasenjoyed a locally sourced wedding meal of cheeses, figs, salads, pasta, fish, and pork, washed down with wine from the family’s farm.

Sofia and Thomas, 34, have two daughters, Romy, 4, and Cosima, 15 months.
