Pabst Blue Ribbon x PRO-Keds Royal CVO
The American lager Pabst Blue Ribbon dates back to the late 19th century where it established itself in Milwaukee, a place known for its breweries. Through the ages the beer has been known as a working class favorite and more recently has been embraced by “the counter culture”.
The beer, which has a classic Americana status is now blended with another Stateside icon, the PRO-Keds Royal. The kicks are part of a tradition of beer influenced sneaker designs like the Nike SB Dunk Heineken, however unlike those these are an official collaboration.
The kicks keep it classic with navy canvas upper that rests on a white midsole. Besides the colorway, the beer label is represented on the heel, tongue and lining.
Sadly these are not destined for sneaker shops as they are a promo piece limited to a 200 pair production. Thanks to PRO-Keds and Pabst Blue Ribbon for blessing us with a pair of the kicks.
