Love First, Love Always

I tried typing out my story. It came out long, strenuous and politically heavy. The last thing I want to do is turn someone away from this platform because we have opposite views. 

So here’s a short version: Toxic Christianity. 

I’ve lived it, I’ve worked in it, and I’m recovering from it. I’m sorry if you’ve ever experienced it and it’s turned you away. Believe what you want. But for anyone out there that believes in God, please check these boxes first: Love God. Love thy neighbor — EVERY NEIGHBOR. Judge not. 

I still have so much healing to do from the boss and pastor that told me my abuse didn’t matter to him because it didn’t help his political narrative. Even though that narrative demonized all women that speak out. Don’t be that person.
